Road closure 2-3 October

Monmouthshire County Council has notified the council of a Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice. The effect of the order will be to temporarily close a section of C12.9 Greig Farm House to White House Farm from its junction with C12.9 Celyn-Kiln to Llantellen Road for ~320m. The order is necessary for BT poling works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure. The Order shall come into operation on the 2 October 2023. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 2 October 2023 and 3 October 2023, operating between 09:00-17:00. Read More...

Skenfrith now has a litter bin

Skenfrith Community Council has responded to concerns from residents of Skenfrith about litter in the village and has installed a litter bin. The bin is adjacent to the bus shelter where the community council noticeboard is located. Thanks go to Monmouthshire County Council for its support of this project.
